The Place Components tool has several functions:
Group all components by Schematic Sheet
Get the tallest component from a selected group
Select all components taller than a given height
Draw side profiles of placed components
Draw Selective Wave Solder clearances around through-hole pins
You can also copy placement of an example circuit to other similar circuits without reference designator mapping
Features for aligning and condensing components include:
Align and evenly space individual components
Align and evenly space groups of components
Reorder individual components to uncross net lines
Reorder groups of components to uncross net lines
