Normalize Lines

Normalize Lines

When you draw geometry by hand — lines on user layers, draft outlines, shape boundaries — segments tend to land at slightly off-axis angles that look messy and never quite line up. Normalize Lines fixes all of it in one pass.

Select the items you want to clean up, launch the tool, and type a single value: the angle you want everything to line up with. Enter 45 and every segment snaps to the nearest 45° multiple; enter 90 for a strict orthogonal grid; enter whatever angle your design calls for. Multi-segment shapes stay connected — the tool recalculates each corner so a straightened outline doesn’t fall apart.

There’s no window and nothing to babysit: you select, launch, type one number, and it snaps everything into line and closes. It’s the fastest way to turn rough, hand-placed geometry into clean, on-grid drawing.
